Portfolio

I have been directly involved in the development of large-scale websites such as The Motley Fool, America Online, and many federal government agencies.

Below are some examples of my past independent work.

Science Careers ForumScience Careers Forum
The American Association for the Advancement of Science, publishers of Science Magazine, needed a message forum to assist users of their Science Careers website. I created for them a forum which allows sorting of messages by thread, date, author, and subject -- as well as full text search capability. Moderators have full control of the forum from their browser, allowing them to edit, delete, and highlight forum topics.

PricePlotterPricePlotter
I developed a Mozilla Firefox browser plug-in that collaboratively tracks price history for online stores in real-time. Each user of PricePlotter that views a product contributes a price record and can instantly view every price that every other user has seen for that product. Based upon this data, the user can determine pricing trends for a product. I created the entire site and tool from scratch, including the message board.

FingerTieFingerTie.com
This site allows the fast and easy creation of personal reminders that are emailed when the user specifies. Ease of use and speed are top priority. I also created a Windows application that allows the creation of reminders from the System Tray.
